Ever dreamed of stepping between the ropes?
Whether you’ve always wanted to become a professional wrestler, want to challenge yourself, build confidence or simply discover what happens behind the scenes of professional wrestling, Almost Pro Wrestling is ready to welcome you!
Our Introduction to Pro Wrestling course is a structured four-week programme designed to take complete beginners through their first steps in professional wrestling.
No experience necessary. Just bring your enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and a positive attitude!
What Will You Learn?
Across four Sunday sessions, our experienced coaches will introduce you to the foundations of professional wrestling, including:
- Ring Safety: Understanding the wrestling environment and learning how to train safely.
- Movement & Coordination: Developing balance, agility and body awareness.
- Wrestling Fundamentals: Learning the basic techniques and principles of professional wrestling.
- Working Together: Building communication, teamwork and trust with your fellow trainees.
- Fitness & Conditioning: Discovering the physical demands of being a professional wrestler.
What’s Included?
For just £25, you’ll receive:
- Four structured Sunday training sessions.
- Coaching from experienced professional wrestlers.
- A supportive, beginner-friendly training environment.
- An individual evaluation at the end of the course.
- Your Almost Pro Wrestling certificate of completion.
- Guidance on your next steps towards becoming a professional wrestler.
Spaces are strictly limited to eight trainees per intake, allowing our coaches to give everyone the attention they deserve.
What Happens After Four Weeks?
At the end of your introductory course, our coaching team will evaluate your progress, confidence and readiness to move forward.
Trainees who demonstrate the appropriate skills and safety awareness may be invited to join our regular training sessions.
Those who would benefit from additional development will receive guidance and the opportunity for further coaching.
Completing your introduction is just the beginning!
Course Information
- Price: £25 for the full four-week course
- Age: 13 years and over
- When: Four scheduled Sundays
- Experience: None required
- Places: Maximum eight trainees per intake
Participants aged 13–17 require parent or guardian consent. Registration and relevant health declarations must be completed before participation. Course completion does not guarantee advancement into regular training.
